Is It Better to Start Kindergarten at 5 or 6?

Kindergarten might seem like a really basic level of education that you don’t really need to worry about your kid being ready for, but suffice it to say that it is a pretty big step up when you compare it to things like preschools and especially day cares which usually don’t offer all that much academic training at this current point in time. The difference between preschool and kindergarten is more or less similar to the change that you might have felt when going to college for the first time after having spent a few years in high school.

After all, your kid will have to start actually working hard when they start going to kindergarten, and as a result of the fact that this is the case you would do well to talk to child training experts so that you can get your opinion on whether or not your kid is ready for kindergarten in the first place. There are countless Byford day care and early learning centres that can train your kids in order to make them better prepared for the relative academic rigors of the start of their schooling life, but figuring out the right age to start sending them to KG is also something that you should focus on.

Most parents start sending their kids to kindergarten right after they turn five, but others prefer to wait a year until they are six. If your kid needs a bit more time to develop before attending kindergarten, there is nothing wrong with delaying it until they are six years old. It can even be a bit better for them because they’d acclimate more quickly.
